We have developed innovative solutions for more than 1,000 customers worldwide – at company locations in Germany, France, the Czech Republic, China and the USA. Thanks to our international presence, we know the particularities of the various markets and technologies. This enables us to manufacture tailor-made products that not only solve our customers’ problems, but are also optimally adapted to the special conditions in the respective countries.
The starting point for the success of Mecanindus and Vogelsang were the German and French markets, where the two companies were premium suppliers of cylindrical fasteners. Building on this knowledge, the first joint factory in the Czech Republic was established in 1999. In 2006, we took over the US site in New Jersey and built another in Kentucky in 2014. In 2015, we also opened a production facility in Kunshan, China. In 2021, the family business Wilhelm Hedtmann GmbH & Co. KG from Hagen became part of the group – so we are now even more broadly positioned in Europe.
